About New Farm Bikes

NFB began on Brunswick street (Cnr Barker), as a strictly Hardcore MTB shop. This was due mainly to difficulties in obtaining licences for other lines of bikes. They started in 1990 with a few lines that they could sell and eventually moved the shop to its recent location in 1998 (cnr Brunswick and Merthyr) with a diverse range of bike styles and brands.

As New Farm Bike's focus is on "Bikes for the rest of us", there is a strong focus on both the Hybrid format and Electra's "Townie" line with its flat foot technology. Both of these bike types are extremely comfortable and practical, making them ideal for the inner city cycling lifestyle.
